Investing in real estate with double-digit returns

SpainTime regularly offers cycles of information about investment opportunities. On April 3rd, Mariano Capellino, co-founder and CEO of INMSA, was invited to talk about Detroit specifically.

Detroit is one of the new destinations for real estate investments. The city is a large market undergoing a recovery phase with an important volume of real estate operations. The values of good quality residential assets are quite below the replacement cost, starting from USD300 per square meter. Some 10% recovery rate, depending on the type and class of asset involved, and very attractive net rental income between 8% and 12% are expected on a yearly basis.

In front of a large audience, Mariano Capellino presented the opportunities offered by Detroit and answered questions and doubts posed by the investors attending the event.
